DIY Interactive Tabletop

This DIY Interactive Tabletop helped us revolutionize planning meetings and community workshops by allowing participants to view critical maps and information on screens projected onto the surface of a tabletop. The setup makes it possible for participants to interact directly with maps, images, and programs. Unfortunately, large-format touchscreens are very costly and out of reach for most municipalities. Building on ideas shared on DIY websites, I spent 80+ additional hours experimenting with and customizing the components of a high-quality, low-cost, portable smart table.
